Shuddering, she pulled the coat tightly around her, trying her best to keep her composure. She noticed her father, as well as the Marines guarding him, trying to get through the barrage of news coverage. Every local and national station was centered right here. Waiting. She was a reporter. She certainly understood that this was big news, but to her, it was garnering a sense of respect for herself, her father.
And for the man she loved.
While she didn’t fully understand everything, nor had she been told every detail for security reasons, she been told enough to realize that the fact William Thoreau had been captured meant people in the United States could go on with their lives.
Many Americans would never know how close they came to Armageddon.
She plastered on a smile as she walked closer. “Daddy.”
“Baby girl. I’m glad you’re here,” her father said as he gave her a bear hug.
The warmth of his body eliminated a portion of her fears. Her father was testifying, providing details of the wealth of information he’d amassed over the years. Maybe now, they would take him seriously. “No place I’d rather be.”
“Stop worrying. I’ll be fine,” he said as he brushed a tear from her eye.
“I know you will. I’m very proud of you.” Dani had never had more respect for her father than she did right now.
Her rendition of what had occurred on the mountain had been given by deposition. Along with her story regarding Cane and his attempt at ending her life, she’d spent far too much time with the FBI, the CIA, and every other government organization trying to keep the country safe.
“General Cronfeld, it’s time.” One of the Marines nodded toward the building.
Her father was in full uniform, something she hadn’t seen in years. “Knock them dead, Daddy.”
“You know I will.” His eyes twinkling, her father was escorted away.
Dani shoved her hands in her pockets, praying for the best. With everything that Danger knew, all the information he’d been able to provide, the fact he’d been working for a traitor of the people might not land him in a penitentiary. Sighing, she walked closer to the entrance to the building, fighting tears as well as adrenaline.
As she stood alone, she thought about everything that had happened during the last two months. The book offers had continued to pour in. Maybe she would write her story—their story. And in truth, it would be more of a love story than one of blackmail and espionage and murder and... She chuckled and closed her eyes, allowing her imagination to take her elsewhere.
Her men. She sighed, wishing for something that could never happen.
“Dani.”
Hearing Wolf’s voice, she bristled, terrified to open her eyes. Courage. Have courage. Breaking into a smile, she raced toward Danger, throwing her arms around him. “Oh, my God. You’re safe. Are you okay? What happened?” Seeing Danger in his uniform, she swallowed hard. He looked the part of a proud Marine.
“He’s been cleared of all charges,” Wolf said. “The dishonorable discharge has also been reversed.” He remained standing off to the side, keeping his voice low.
Danger crushed his mouth over hers as he pulled her into the heat of his body. Dani knew there wasn’t a camera that hadn’t captured the moment. They would make the national news.
Again.
As Danger broke the kiss, he kept his hand pressed against her face. “I love you, Dani. I’ll always love you.”
“Geez. Get a freaking room, you two,” Wolf chortled.
She tipped her head in his direction and as their eyes locked, she had no way of telling him how much she appreciated his help. The man had gone deep undercover, starting long before the assignment on the mountain. He had to appear rogue in order for Thoreau to trust him. Everything had been centered around catching Thoreau. Cane’s reason for being on the mountain wasn’t the one he’d offered Danger, well, not exactly. His ties to Iraq had been unexpected but would have proven to be deadly for millions.
“Only if you come with us,” she teased.
Wolf turned several shades of red before glancing in Danger’s direction and holding up his hands. “Baby, I would love to, and Danger and I have something to tell you.”
“You do, huh?” she asked, searching both men’s faces.
“Had a long talk with Wolf and Bronco,” Danger stated before breaking into a grin.
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the brawny man, his face beaming. “Bronco. You’re here.”
“We think you need to be kept in line,” Danger stated, winking as Bronco swaggered closer.
“He’s right,” Wolf added.
Her mind went to several very wicked places, especially being dominated by all three men. “You’re serious.”
“We’re dead serious, sweetheart.” Sweeping her into his arms, Bronco captured her mouth as he pressed her against the heat of his body.
Swooning, her pussy quivered as Bronco brushed his hand down her back, cupping her bottom. As their tongues entwined, she realized she’d never been happier in her life. Danger would always be her first love, but she’d come to realize she didn’t want to live the rest of her life without the other men who’d given her so much passion.
And harsh punishment.
“Okay. Save it for later. Plus, she needs some stern discipline for everything she’s put us through.” Wolf’s voice was commanding.
Dani heard the words and as Bronco eased her down, the two sharp smacks on her ass cheeks were a perfect reminder of exactly who she belonged to.
All three of them.
“Yes, sirs,” she whispered, giving Danger a heated look.
“Such a tease,” Bronco said, laughing.
“That she is.” Danger inched closer, towering over her. “How about it, mischievous brat. Can you handle three men and a life full of discipline as well as love?”
As all three men surrounded her, a warm flush crept up from her neck to her cheeks. She’d never felt so loved in her entire life. “There’s nothing that would make me happier.”
Danger rubbed the tip of his thumb across her face, shaking his head. “You are one special lady.”
“One naughty girl,” Wolf said under his breath.
“Meanie.” Life was going to change in so many ways and she couldn’t be more excited.
Danger held out his hand, giving Wolf a respectful nod. “Have a hell of a lot to thank you for, including my freedom.”
Wolf locked eyes with him before shaking his hand, then pulling him into a bear hug. “You would have done the same for me, my friend. I needed someone to watch my back. That’s why I asked for you specifically. I knew you were still a good guy.”
“I’m glad you had faith in me.” Danger’s voice was muffled.
Easing back, Wolf glanced over at the bank of reporters. “Going to be national news for a while. Hope you guys can handle it. Indictments will be coming down right and left, from what I understand.”
Dani glanced over her shoulder, smirking. “We’ll all be fine.”
“Yes, we will.” Wolf laughed. “Together.”
“Together,” Bronco said.
“Hell, yes.” Danger grinned.
She had no idea what to say or how to thank the three men for changing her entire life.
“Well, what do you say we all go home?” Danger whispered as he wrapped his arm around her.
“Sadly, I don’t have a home. My landlord sent me an eviction notice. Guess I’ll be taking him to court.”
Laughing, Danger took her hand. “You’ll always have a home with us. Forever. Besides, the three of us have a plan.”
“Oh, you do, do you?” Laughing, she gazed into Danger’s eyes. This was just another passage in something special.

Three weeks later
Danger rubbed the sweat from his brow as he gazed up at the mountains. The last week had been unusually warm but snow covered the peaks, creating a serene atmosphere. He loved the area, everything about
the beautiful blue sky and frigid air. This was truly home.
“Are you all right, dude?” Bronco asked, stopping long enough to follow his gaze.
“You know what? I’m better than all right,” Danger answered.
Both he and Bronco had been cutting wood for about two hours, enjoying every minute of the chore. For him, being here brought back so many memories, at least the majority of them amazing. He hadn’t thought twice about purchasing the cabin, with a little help from his friends. Even though he’d been required to give back the money he’d earned searching for diamonds, his pension from the military had been reinstated, allowing all four of them to sign their names onto the deed. With the book proposals coming in, Dani would be a busy and perhaps wealthy girl at some point. Not that they gave a shit about money. They were happy, and they were together.
That was the only thing that mattered.
“Uh-oh. Don’t look now, but I think there’s trouble brewing,” Bronco muttered.
Hearing Dani clear her throat, Danger tipped his head in her direction, a solid grin on his face.
“It’s about time for you to come inside,” she said, her tone demanding.
“We’re almost finished.” He was able to see the diamond glistening in the waning sun. The single rock that she’d found had been turned into a gorgeous setting, the engagement ring that she was proud to wear.
“Now.” She gave both men a defiant look.
“I’d listen to her,” Wolf said casually as he flanked her side.
“What are you two up to?” Danger huffed under his breath.
Bronco eased the ax against the pile of wood. “I keep telling you that our little woman is full of mischief.”
“I’m a good girl. Who are you kidding?” she purred.
“Uh-huh.” Dropping the maul, Danger yanked off his gloves, shoving them into his back pocket. He gave the mountains one last glance before storming in her direction, lifting her off her feet. “You’re not in charge here. We are.”
She squealed, her face beaming. “Yes, sir. I know that, sir.”
He shook his head as she over-emphasized each word. The woman remained a ballbuster. “I think you need a spanking as a reminder.”
“That she does,” Wolf was quick to chime in.
Dani shook her head several times. “Not right now. All three of you are incorrigible.”
“Listen to her, will ya?” Bronco snarked as he walked closer.
The crunch of twigs and branches meant a vehicle was coming. Hissing, he eased Dani onto the porch. “What is going on?”
“A visitor.” She had a mischievous look on her face.
The sun was just setting, the rays in his eyes as Danger tried to make out who was driving the four wheel drive truck, but it was impossible. “What did you do?”
“Exactly what was needed since you are one stubborn man.”
The truck pulled to a stop and whoever was sitting behind the wheel hesitated. When the door finally opened, he shivered, even though he still couldn’t see who’d come for a visit.
Dani gripped his arm. “This is our home for our entire family, every one of them.”
Wolf inched closer, patting Danger on the back. “Just go with it.”
Danger glanced from Wolf to Bronco then finally at the love of his life and seeing the tears in her eyes, he blinked several times before he turned back. “Angelina?”
Angelina nodded and walked closer, giving Dani a smile. “I hope you don’t mind. When Dani called me and told me everything, I just... I’m so sorry. I’ve missed you so much, Drake.”
“Oh, God.” He raced toward her, pulling her into his arms. “Oh, Angie. I’m so sorry what happened. I never meant to hurt you.”
“You didn’t. You saved me, brother. I just... Well, I was a fool. I hope you can forgive me.” Tears fells down Angelina’s cheeks.
“There is nothing to be forgiven. I’m just so glad you’re here.” Unable to stop the tears, Danger held her tightly, his emotions fractured.
“That’s what I call a family reunion,” Bronco half whispered, sighing.
“I have someone I’d like you to meet,” Angelina said softly, pulling away.
Danger let her go, wiping his eyes, his attention drawn to the passenger side of the truck.
Angelina walked to the other side, opening the door. “Come on, baby.”
Dani walked closer, sliding her hand into his.
A little boy looked sheepishly from Dani to Danger before breaking into a grin and racing toward him. “Unkie Drake.”
Danger scooped him up into his arms, holding the boy tightly.
“His name is Marco. This is the only good thing that came out of my abusive relationship. I told him all about his famous and courageous uncle.” Angelina spoke softly, a smile forming on her face.
“Family,” Dani said and held out her hand to Angelina before glancing at all three men.
“Family,” both Bronco and Wolf said together.
“Family,” Danger repeated. For the first time since he could remember, he felt a true sense of peace. For all the horrors and all the strife, he’d made it through to the other side.
Family. Love. Honor.
He had them all and he would never let them go again.
